The Beltone Hearing Center, Inc. currently serves 16 locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Dallas Center, located on Forest Lane, offers the full range of products and services for patients with hearing health needs in the city and elsewhere in the metroplex. It is the leading supplier of hearing aids in Dallas.
It is our mission to restore and maintain the quality of life that is often lost along with full hearing function. Our leading audiologists assess your hearing and then supply you with the hearing aids best-suited to your ears and level of hearing ability. We offer a range of services designed to maximize and improve your hearing. We start by measuring and examining your ear and testing your hearing ability. If you already have a hearing aid, we will assess whether the one you have is actually fulfilling your needs. After completing the assessment, we will then be in a position to recommend the best device from our range to suit your personal hearing needs. We will establish an ongoing relationship with you, inviting you back to our offices every few months to conduct screenings to guard against any further hearing deterioration and to just check whether you are happy with your device. We will always provide in-depth expert advice and discussion regarding the state of your hearing and the measures we take to improve it.
All of our devices come with a warranty. We can also offer additional loss, theft, and damage cover, should you require it.
Hearing aids come in a variety of types and shapes. We select the appropriate one depending on the patient’s needs. The standard varieties of hearing aid are as follows:
These are perhaps the most common and recognizable type where the aid is worn behind the ear. They are easily visible, which is not preferred by some users. However, they also need the least maintenance and are more durable than other types.
These are seated deep inside the ear canal and are completely invisible. CICs are the ideal choice for those who prefer more discretion regarding their hearing aid use.
This is another choice for discretion and invisibility. IIC’s tiny devices are not quite invisible, but they are pretty close to it! And, they offer high-quality sound.
In the Canal (ITC)
These are also worn inside the ear canal, although they are more visible than CIC and IIC devices.
In the Ear (ITE)
Comfortable and discreet without being entirely concealed in the ear canal.
Receive in Ear (RIE)
These are generally prescribed for people with mild to moderate hearing loss.
The hearing aid that is right for you depends on your hearing needs, as well as your personal preferences regarding visibility and the appearance of the device.
